Welding positioner is a weldment positioner that rotates and tilts the weldment so that the weld on the weldment is placed in a favorable welding position. The welding positioner is mainly used for the turnover and displacement of non long weldments such as frame, base, flange and head. It is classified according to the basic structural form of welding positioner, including arm extension type, seat type and double seat type.
1. Performance characteristics and application range of outrigger positioner
The rotary table is installed at one end of the extension arm, and the extension arm rotates at an angle relative to a certain tilt axis, and the position of this tilt axis is mostly fixed, but some can also tilt up and down within the range of less than 100 degrees.
Scope of application: motor driven, with a bearing capacity of about 0.5T, suitable for turnover and displacement of small weldments. It is hydraulically driven, with a bearing capacity of about 10 tons. It is suitable for weldments with small structural size but large self weight. They are widely used in electrode arc welding.
2. Performance characteristics and application scope of seat welding transformer
The worktable and the rotary mechanism are supported on the inclined shafts on both sides. The worktable rotates at the welding speed. The inclined shaft rotates at a constant speed in the range of 110-140 degrees through sector gears or hydraulic cylinders.
Scope of application: the turnover displacement of 0.5 ~ 50 tons is a structural form with large output, complete specifications and wide application. It is often used in conjunction with boom operator or arc welding robot
3. Performance characteristics and application scope of two seat welding positioner
The worktable is on the "U" frame and rotates with the required weldment. The machine not only has good stability, but also if properly designed, the center of gravity of the tilt movement will pass through or close to the tilt axis to greatly reduce the speed of the tilt driving force. Therefore, most heavy positioners have this structure.
Scope of application: heavy-duty large-size weldment turnover above 50t is mostly equipped with large gantry welding operator or outrigger welding operator
